Over 300 students, faculty, and community members came together to create this version of Leonard Bernstein’s MASS presented in the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Complete with:
a women's choir
University choir
children’s choir
actor troupe
dancers and acrobatics
full orchestra
jazz band
marching band
opera singers
My Jobs as a PA:
Print and revise massive 400 page score
Stand in for groups who cannot attend rehearsals (opera singers&children)
Learn the choreography of the show to spot potential issues with staging
Cue opera singers
Coordinate arrivals of all 300 participants through a single lane security
Assist the team with paperwork
Manage the children’s choir when they had water guns (the hardest task)
