#GodHatesYou
A story half in the virtual world with a lesson for us all
This was my second time working with new works, and my first time doing a full production of one. Playwright Emily Dendinger joined us for this Pegasus Playlab production
Half of #Godhatesyou took place in the “twitter-sphere” and half in the office of a radical evangelical church.
As a Production Stage Manager I oversaw all aspects of the production including:
daily script changes
prop navigation and protection
creating a safe environment for discussion of heavy themes
created call and call script
maintain a cohesive show that could first perform in the summer season, and then remount in the fall.
Unfortunately Hurricane Dorian had other plans, and our re-mount opening also became our closing performance.
Though we were disappointed, I helped rally the morale of the actors and crew to put on one final show
