Production Stage Manager, Hunchback of Notre Dame

Returning to Mattie Kelly Arts Center the summer for 2018 to stage manage my favorite show, The Hunchback of Notre Dame

To this day this remains my favorite show because of the work I did and the role I played helping mold the show into what it became

The set was made up of six towers.

The 2 middle towers framed the bridge and were stationary, while the two towers on stage right and left were hinged and could move and shift to create over 30 different set configurations. Added into the mix were two staircases that could be deposed to multiple locations, on stage and behind the scenes, that were custom made with actor deployed friction brakes.

Here are some of my favorite calling moments from the show.
This was during the “helldrop” sequence where multiple cue lights, audio calls, and backstage clears were all needed within 3 minutes.
